In Edition 8, I have crafted the OBG videos to make it tighter, faster & more clinical – Dr Sakshi

As a clinician, there are so many incidences which change your perception, which change the way you look at life. They change something inside you, but there are very few incidences which actually change your life.

As a doctor, you know, always, always it is our patient which comes first. Keeping that in mind, this edition eight is dedicated to all those patients who’ve taught me and who’ve made me what I am today.

I was 37 weeks pregnant at that time. My first pregnancy. A complicated pregnancy with history of threatened abortion, preterm labor. And it was 02:00 at night. And I hear a lot of noise, I pause and I see.

And what I see was a patient of eclampsia coming towards the labor room. Quickly, her attendants and I, we take her to the labor room and I just tell my resident that get the maxelf ready, she’s loading the max self. I try to take the airway, you know, and I am trying to put the mouth gas in her mouth. When I don’t know from where, she brings her feet and she hits me. There was a pain in abdominal which I started feeling.

But then I had a patient to manage, an eclampsia to manage. So we control the patient, we give her max self, we give her antihypertensive, I do her per vaginal examination and she was seven, 8 cm dilated. I may rupture her membranes and within one, one and a half hours she is delivered. Her baby is safe, my patient is safe. And that is the time, you know, when I started feeling that yes, I am not having slight pain in abdomen, I am having proper pain in abdominal.

And you won’t believe next day, morning. 37 weeks pregnancy and I am getting a cesarean section done. And that is how my daughter was born. At 37 weeks, 1.9 kg only. I know some of you might be thinking that straight away from Edition 6.5 it’s Edition 8.

But believe me, when you are going to watch the videos of this particular edition, you will realize that why we are calling it as edition eight, because so many changes have come in edition eight. In Obsegayani edition 8, you will see a more crisper version, you will see a more clinically oriented videos. Without compromising on the content. I have tried to reduce the number of hours. I hope you enjoy this new edition of Marrow.
